One Essex Court is a leading set of barristers’ Chambers, specialising in commercial litigation and arbitration. Their work embraces all aspects of domestic and international trade, commerce and finance. In November, they held ‘careers clinics’ where those considering a career at the Commercial Bar could speak to a female barrister. They report that their barristers enjoyed meeting so many talented potential applicants, and the feedback they received from students is that their conversations were “incredibly helpful, interesting and very inspiring”. Their programme for aspiring barristers continues into January and February and they will be holding two workshops to help those applying for pupillage at the Commercial Bar in 2023.
