Global Week 2025 takes place between Monday 17 – Friday 21 November 2025. It offers a chance to find out about the possibility of doing an exchange or spending the summer abroad via the talks and stalls that are happening at City St George’s. Of particular interest to students interested in an exchange are 2 events happening on Monday 17th November:  

Going Global stall in City Law School

• 10:30am – 12:30pm
• CLS Atrium

Global Opportunities Fair 

• 12-3pm
• The Pavilion

At the Global Opportunities Fair, you can learn all about the Exchanges and Summer Abroad opportunities available to you, including destinations, the generous funding available, and the application process. You will also be able to speak to students who have completed the programme previously about their experiences abroad. Register your interest.

On Thursday 20th November you can attend the Global Opportunities Ambassador Stall from 12-2pm. This will be found on the Main Walkway, University Building. On Friday 21st November here is a talk on ‘Choosing a destination for your exchange or Summer abroad programme‘ (Room C308, 2-3pm). You will hear from staff and students about what to consider when choosing destinations for your Exchange or Summer Abroad Programme; learn about the benefits of each destination, the differences in learning and teaching styles, and the support available in each destination. Register your interest

Later that afternoon (3-4pm) is a talk on ‘How to prepare a successful global opportunities application‘ where you can learn about the application process for the Exchange and Summer Abroad Programmes, and how to write an effective application to help you stand out from the crowd. Register your interest and go along to Room C308.
