What you can do with a Law degree?

A law degree opens up a wide array of career opportunities beyond traditional legal practice. Shermen Ang – Trainee Solicitor 

Third-seat trainee solicitor in Investment Funds with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP (London). I previously completed seats in Cleary’s M&A/PE and Capital Markets practices.

 Zainab Agha – Solicitor

Studied law at The City Law School and later completed the LPC at the University of Law. Commenced the training contract at Wedlake Bell LLP in September 2023 and qualified in September this year into the Commercial Disputes team.

Androulla Skapoullis – Compliance Director 

In October 2025 she transitioned from her previous role as a Senior Audit Manager at S&P Global, within the Internal Audit Team, into this Director role. In her current position, she is responsible for overseeing compliance initiatives and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements across the organization.

A highlight of Androulla’s career to date was serving as Co-Lead for WEWILL (Welcoming Empowered Women in Life and Leadership), a DEI initiative within Internal Audit. In this role, she had the opportunity to interview strong female leaders such as Gina Gavini and Dimitra Manis, further promoting diversity and inclusion within the workplace. Androulla is an LLB graduate of the City Law School.

Tram Nguyen – Trainee Solicitor

Tram is a trainee solicitor in Haynes Boone’s London office. She is currently in her third seat working within the Real Estate and Energy Transactions Practice Groups.

Kayley Rousell – Associate 

Graduated from the University of Essex in 2019 and is currently working as an Associate in the Energy, Power and Natural Resources practice group in the London office of Haynes and Boone, LLP. Has a wide range of transactional experience, principally in the context of energy and infrastructure projects (specifically project finance) and the renewables, oil and gas and shipping sectors, across a range of international projects including the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas.
