Supreme Court Essay Competition open for entries until end of the month
The solicitors, barristers, and judges of the future (you!!) have been given the opportunity to shine in the UK Supreme Court’s essay competition, which launched back on the 15th July.
The essay competition, which marks the Court’s 15th anniversary, is open to all students at UK universities and other higher education providers, as well as pupil barrister and trainee solicitors.
Lady Simler, who is lending her judging talents to the essay competition, said:
“This is a wonderful opportunity for people at the start of their legal careers to help us reflect on the Supreme Court’s role and our work so far, and to look ahead to the future…The prize includes a tour of the Supreme Court, after which I will sit down with the winner, and we can discuss everything from their essay, to their studies and what they want to achieve in the future!”.
