New competition: Oath of Justitia
The Liquid Legal Institute have launched a competition which prompts teams of students (3 or more students in each team) to formulate a Hippocratic Oath for lawyers.
What do I have to do?
Describe your imaginative ideas using:
- A one-page document outlining your version of the Oath (300 words maximum) and
- A supporting essay which explains the reasoning behind your Oath (2000 words maximum, excluding references and footnotes).
You may also want to take into account the digital transformation of the legal industry and how the legal industry is or should be perceived by laypersons.
Prizes?
First prize is € 1000, with runner-up prize of € 500. Those teams who also submit a Deployment Plan for their Oath (optional), explaining how it would gain traction in the legal industry, will also be considered for an additional prize (€ 500).
In addition, the winning submissions will be published on the LLI website and the competition results will also be published in Going Digital, a magazine about the changing legal sector.
