Journeys into (and out of) Law – next installment available

Senior Lecturer on the Solicitor’s Practice Programme at City, Sona Mehta, enjoys finding out how people end up on the path they have, and hosts occasional interviews on this topic, many with City alumni. You can watch past interviews (into law | out of law) but the next installment is now available! Here we get a double whammy – one detailing three individual’s journeys into law, another, one person’s exit from the law into an entirely new sector. First the ‘out’.

My Journey out of Law

Listen to one-time LPC student, Sharon Kimathi, who transitioned from a being a paralegal to being an ESG and Energy Editor at Reuters.  Listen to her story as she as she discovered law wasn’t actually what was getting her out of bed in the morning and hear how she found her way into journalism.

My Journey into Law

Many pearls of wisdom coming across in this chat between Sona and her guests in this episode of ‘My journey into law’. Guests include: Sami Yousufi (City LPC graduate of 2014), now Legal Counsel at Aramark, Salise Dourmoush (City LPC graduate of 2015), now Senior Associate specialising in Education at Geldards LLP and Kaajal Nathwani (LLB at City, graduate of 2004), now partner at Osborne & Wise, specialising in employment.
