Thinking about joining JUSTICE as a student member? Exciting talks this coming week…
There are lots of organisations you might consider joining as a student member to get access to interesting events, useful publications and updates. One such option is JUSTICE which costs £15 a year. Members have the following cool stuff coming up for the remainder of this month.
From 26 to 29 September, JUSTICE is running a week of free online events exclusively for their student, pupil barrister, and trainee members. Focusing on the breadth of career opportunities within the legal profession, they’ll be joined by a panel of professionals who will discuss their different paths into the law and the hiring processes involved. The full line-up is to be announced, but includes speakers from Bhatt Murphy, REDRESS, and Matrix Chambers.
At these hour-long lunchtime Zoom events (12-1pm), you can listen to advice from lawyers and ask questions too. The week is topped off by an evening of conversation (on 29th) with HHJ Angela Rafferty KC, former Chair of the Criminal Bar Association, taking place at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP (London). As a member you would get the chance to go along, ask questions about her career and network with other attendees – tickets are free and exclusive to JUSTICE members.
Obviously there are lots of other benefits to being a JUSTICE member, here are some of them:
- Be eligible to list JUSTICE under ‘memberships’ on your CV
- Be eligible to apply for their internships
- Be able to publish and view the full case notes library in the JUSTICE members area

- Receive significant discounts on their paid-for events, including the Annual Student Conference and the Annual Human Rights Conference
