The InterLaw Diversity Forum is an organisation with 9,000 members, supporters from over 300 law firms and chambers, and over 500 corporates and financial institutions. They work to foster inclusion for all diverse, socially mobile, and under-represented talent working in the legal sector, and to promote meritocracy in all sectors by working to ‘level the playing field’ in order to create environments where the best talent can succeed.
Each year, the InterLaw Diversity Forum arranges the Student Lab Summit, a day of practical workshops, discussions and networking opportunities for aspiring lawyers, supported by a range of leading law firms (from Magic Circle and US, to top UK and boutique firms). The Summit is now in its seventh year and will take place on 4 December 2026 at Fieldfisher’s office in London.
Those attending the Summit will:

- Meet trainees, future trainees, recruiters, lawyers, and senior leaders from leading US, City, boutique and specialist law firms
- Build their confidence through speed networking, breakout sessions and interactive panel discussions
- Hear what recruiters from leading firms look for in applications and interviews
- Develop their commercial awareness
- Explore how AI is changing legal work, hearing from those leading the charge at Magic Circle and Top 20 UK firms
- Hear perspectives on the future of the legal profession from Partners and leaders
Firms represented on the day include:
Addleshaw Goddard, A&O Shearman, Arnold & Porter, Ashurst Perkins Coie, Cooley, Covington, DLA Piper, Eversheds Sutherland, Fieldfisher, Linklaters, Macfarlanes, Pallas Partners and Stewarts.
In order to secure a place at the Student Lab Summit, attendees must complete the application and receive an offer to participate. There is no cost to attend, and reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed. Deadline for applications is 6th November.
