Become a Youth Ambassador for the rule of law – deadline 30th November 2025

The Attorney General’s Office is looking for community-minded changemakers, content creators, youth campaigners and educators across the UK. YA’s will be aged 18-25 years old. Sound like you?
This brilliant opportunity is open for applications until November 30th – you need to submit a written personal statement or a 3 minute video that shows off your motivation and experience.
What will the YA’s do?
- Co-create a youth-led campaign promoting the rule of law
- Attend a residential weekend and a visit to the Attorney General’s London offcies with expert-led workshops
- Use social media and creativity to engage your community
- Pitch your ideas to the Attorney General
What are they looking for?
There are four key criteria you’ll need to address:
Commitment – what has motivated you to apply? What do you feel you can contribute?
Communications – show how you’ve sought to create change and what role good communication played in this.
Creativity – do you show evidence of your creativity in day-to-day life? Do you have new ideas?
Community – can you show evidence of public service and leadership in your community?

Ambassadors will join a unique and high-profile programme with associated expenses paid, a domestic residential weekend, an exciting surprise trip, access to key rule of law institutions, and the opportunity to brief a Minister. They will also benefit from expert-led workshops, a completion grant, and a peer network of Ambassadors (and future cohorts of Ambassadors).
