LLB1 student? Help to shape the future of the LLB! Paid internship available…

Imagine! Having a hand in shaping a module on the LLB…

We’re pleased to share a paid internship opportunity for two LLB1 students to join a curriculum development project within the City Law School. This is a unique chance to help co-create the Foundations of Legal Analysis module as part of the re-launch of the LLB programme in 2025.

The role involves working closely with academic staff and a team of fellow students to design engaging and inclusive tutorials that support core legal skills and learning across the LLB programme.

This opportunity is part of City’s Access and Participation Plan (APP), and is only open to students who identify with one or more of the following backgrounds:

  • From low-socioeconomic backgrounds (IMD Quintile 1)
  • Students of Colour
  • Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities
  • With experience of Local Authority Care
  • With a declared disability (including physical, learning, or mental health conditions)
  • Estranged from their families
  • Refugees and Asylum Seekers
  • LGBTQIA+ students

The internship is part-time (24 hours total), paid at £18.40 per hour, and will run from May to July 2025, with a break during the assessment period.

Full details can be found via the UniTemps website.

Application deadline: 23 April 2025

If you meet the eligibility criteria and are interested in contributing to the future of legal education at City, we strongly encourage you to apply.
