A reminder that the deadline for anyone who wants to join the Lawbore Journalism Team is Friday October 9th at 1pm.

Lawbore is the longest-running student portal in the UK; launched in 2002 here at the City Law School. For a number of years we have recruited student volunteers to contribute to the site as part of the Lawbore Journalism Team. Look at the Future Lawyer part of the site to see examples of core content (event reviews and interviews), as well as columns on a wide range of topics including: Law & Culture (e.g. the film column), Law & Mortar, The Academic Corner, Pro Bono, Women & Law, Wellbeing, Commercial Awareness, Access to Justice, Spotlight on [practice area], Diversity & Inclusion and many more…
For the journalist team, we are looking for those who:
- Can commit to submitting 2 pieces per month (column, review, interview etc)
- Enjoy writing lively and informative content to engage a wide audience
- Are up for attending at least one event per month (at City or elsewhere in legal London)
You are not required to have journalism experience but it is of course welcome!
This is open to both new and returning students and we look to have representation from across all the City Law School programmes.
