CITYMUN 2025 – A Unique Opportunity for Law Students to Debate, Network, and Lead

Are you a law student interested in public speaking, international relations, or advocacy?

The CITYMUN 2025 Conference, taking place on 1–2 November 2025 (9:30am till 6:00pm) at City St. George’s, is the perfect platform to sharpen those skills and it’s completely beginner friendly!

Model United Nations (MUN) conferences simulate UN debates, allowing participants to represent countries, draft resolutions, and negotiate solutions to pressing global issues. For law students, it’s an excellent way to:

  • Enhance advocacy and negotiation skills — key strengths for any legal career.
  • Develop confidence in structured argumentation and persuasive communication.
  • Gain insight into international law and diplomacy through realistic debate settings.
  • Network with students and future professionals from universities across the UK.

This year’s theme is “Peace at All Times”, offering thought-provoking discussions on justice, equality, and the rule of law. And with the conference held over Halloween weekend, participants can also look forward to a fun Halloween Social alongside the debates!

The cost for the whole weekend will be £12 for City students, £15 for external participants. Interested? Get on and register for your place!
