Meet the City Law School societies! (Part 1)

Some of the Presidents/VPs. Back L-R: Peter Tsangari, Imani Sabir, Lucy Heap, Thomas Hills. Front L-R: Megan Walden, Karlee Hutchins, Angel Murray

We are very lucky within the Law School to have a diverse collection of different societies; all with a different focus but all bringing the same enthusiasm to supporting their members. They are busy planning for the months ahead; scheduling in events that will let you learn about the legal world, develop your skills around professionalism and sometimes just let off steam. You don’t have to choose between them – you can belong to as many as you like (for a small annual fee). Hop over to the City St George’s Students’ Union pages to get a membership.

We are particularly proud of how these societies work together – pushing each others events and working together at certain times of the year on joint events (such as the recent Tips and Treats social). Here’s a rundown of who is running four of these societies, as well as the sorts of things they plan over the year. The other three feature in this post.
