For those of you just beginning your study of law it’s worth flagging up one of the best (and most fun) resources of current awareness out there – Charon QC not only writes a fantastic blog, but also does regular podcasts with a wide array of legal practitioners.

Recent ones include Professor Gary Slapper who chats with Charon on legal aid cuts, the streamlining of the justice system and the state of legal education, Dan Hoadley, ICLR law reporter and member of the bar on that rare breed of law reporters and law reporting in general. Dan also blogs as Carrefax, and is a City alumni.
