Happy New Year everyone!

WELCOME BACK!

I know you will all be hard at work preparing for mid-sessional exams and assessment deadlines but here are a few things you might want to consider getting involved with…

Deadline for the PBA Essay Competition is 6pm this Friday (5th January 2018). 1000 words or less on: Has leasehold had its day? Enter via the PBA website.

There are a few more chances to try out for a City team – find out more about what you need to do to be considered for the LSE-Featherstone Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Moot, as well as the Blackstones/University of Hertfordshire National Criminal Advocacy Competition on Lawbore Mooting [LSE Moot and Advocacy Comp].

The National Speed Mooting Competition will be releasing details of application soon – keep an eye on their website for further information.

Lots of exciting events coming up this term too, both at City and beyond. Keep an eye on the Events Calendar on Lawbore City Hub. The JUSTICE Student Conference in February has some great guest speakers and workshops around the challenges of digitisation for court processes in the future. Find out more and book on their events page.
